Juan Ruiz Anchia is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers (A.S.C.) and currently lives in California. Some of his many credits as Cinematographer include, AT CLOSE RANGE (1986), GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS (1992), MR.JONES (1993), THE JUNGLE BOOK (1994) and CONFIDENCE (2003). In a recent chat with Zef Cota, he shared his experiences working with many directors including James Foley, David Mamet and Christopher Cain. He also shares for listeners, some differences he sees between the film industry in the U.S versus Europe, professional influencers, and some memorable stories from each of the features he worked on, including the influence leading actors can have on a production.
