Dr. Andrew Wommack is an Associate Professor of Chemistry in the Wanek School of Natural Sciences at High Point University. In this episode, Dr. Wommack shares with us his thoughtful and innovative approaches to teaching Organic Chemistry and describes a new honors course that he has designed. This honors course is inquiry-based, and has generated important scientific findings that his students will present at an upcoming meeting of the American Chemical Society. We also get an update on his National Science Foundation-funded research, which provides impactful training opportunities for natural sciences majors.
