This episode we welcome a new friend we met in the bar, Ethan Blackstone. Ethan is a youth pastor in a local Church of Christ congregation. This is part 1 of our discussion, part 2 was posted last week.
We also welcome Eugene Carl on Jake's mic until Jake got off work. We discuss cannabis and religion, his experiences with both, and why 200mg may be too much even for him.
Ethan discusses "Faith" and "Works" and why they have to go together. Jake reads the passage from Jame chapter 2 that speaks on the subject. We all agree of our read of Joel Osteen and mega churches, he is not great. The differences between Protestant and the Roman Catholic Church and the structure of Ethan's church is also brought up.
