Jack Edwards delivered another wonderful metaphor this week, describing the Bruins as being on top of a cornice, with the ground about to fall out from under them. This was the case for players around the league as trade deadline week saw many of them step off the cornice into more favorable team situations, and others had the snow fall out from under them and join teams at the bottom of the mountain.
