This is the story of Holli Jeffcoat.   A young, disabled girl who was sexually abused repeatedly by her step-father, and with her mother's consent, to ensure that the bills could be paid.  This eventually led to the Holli's gruesome murder in 2016 at the hands of this monster.  This young girl was failed repeatedly by the CPS system, the justice system, and so many others.  This story is a reminder of how we as a society must learn to step-up and defend those who cannot defend themselves.  When it comes to children, FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!  Please listen to this episode, and if you feel the need to advocate for children, please contact your nearest CASA location and sign up.  Children need protection from these abusers!  Let's stop this violence.
