Episode 14 features Joyce Ho, an 18 year old American-born second generation Hong Konger. She is a pro-democracy activist for the Hong Kong movement that began in the summer of 2019. She founded Project Black Mask HK in 2020 with the goal of spreading awareness for the fight for democracy taking place in Hong Kong and other nations under oppression of the CCP. She is additionally a member of the Captive Nations Coalition where she and an influential group of activists meet privately with US politicians to discuss the role of the US in overseas human rights and democracy movements.
