Where to begin? Since we last met to discuss academic freedom a major row emerged at Sussex University that involved many of our previous invitees - Kathleen Stock OBE, Michelle Donelan and our next invitee: The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Adam Tickell - already a hero among men for slaying the neoliberal beast. Should Professor Tickell fail to join us, we will regardless have much to discuss with Dr Naomi Waltham-Smith who has been rigorously tracking progression of the The Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Bill through parliament.
