This week we revisit one of the true classics of the genre, and the first horror story I ever read.

The Telltale Heart, By Edgar Allen Poe. This story is a masterclass in slowburning tension. It builds and builds until everything begins to fall apart. This remains probably my favourite horror short ever, and the thoughts and feelings stirred by this story echo for days.
