Acts 1:12–26; 1 Peter 4:7-11; Mark 10:35-45

Through our Ministry Clarity process, leaders of Immanuel were challenged to begin seeing where God is leading us by getting a clearer understanding of who we are as the people of God and what values undergird all that we do at Immanuel. We came to understand that the values that uphold all of our ministries are Praising, Praying, Connecting, Serving, and Learning. During this series we will be exploring these values together to come to a better understanding of how they impact life and faith at Immanuel. This week we explore serving. Serving is one of the most important ways we live out our faith. God created us to give and receive love through serving. Jesus demonstrated the value of serving by serving each of us with His very lift. Today we celebrate the centrality of service in the life of Immanuel.
