In our What Happened to You? series, we are looking at trauma, at both the individual and community level. COVID-19 has been a generational trauma, affecting children, families, communities, and whole societies. Health care workers have been among the most deeply impacted. For this episode we’re looking at the traumatic impact of COVID on health care workers, through the lens of a concept known as "moral injury." Our two guests are University of Texas at Austin professors Dr. Robert Prentice, professor of business ethics at the McCombs School of Business; and Dr. Read Pierce, professor of internal medicine at Dell Medical School.
