Thoughts from your host…
Every week or so, my wife Lindsay and I see a movie. Every week or so, we get into a lengthy discussion about what we’ve just seen on the subway ride home. Consider this episode a seat across from us on that subway ride home. For some time now, Lindsay has only shown up on episodes where we vehemently disagree, so a discussion where we see eye-to-eye might seem like a change of pace.
So allow us to finally turn the conversation towards the world of nonfiction film, and express our deep love of music…along with getting in some therapy about our relationships with our parents.
Further Down the Spiral Suggestions:
From Lindsay… Lena Hall on YouTube (embedded below, followed by the “Back in Black” clip mentioned in the show)
From Ryan… “Grace” by Jeff Buckley
Thanks for tuning into episode one-hundred-forty-one.
Lindsay’s Twitter feed can be found here. You can subscribe to the Matineecast via iTunes or RSS
Comments and feedback are welcome, and thank-you very much for listening.
