We often imagine that selling is a skill you're born with. And while I do believe that a certain type of personality can make the transition to selling easier—like being extroverted, courageous, or energized by talking to people—the truth is, that's just a small part of the process. It's helpful, sure, but honestly, it's an insignificant piece of the puzzle when you truly understand what sales is all about.
