Deuteronomy 30:19-20

"I am offering you life or death, blessings or curses. Now, choose life!...To choose life I to love the Lord you God, obey Him, and stay close to Him.

Sometimes, because we are imperfect human beings, we may become so wrapped up in meeting society's expectations that we fail to focus on God's expectations. We must live and seek approval not from our peers, but from our Creator. We must trust Him always, love Him always, praise Him always, and make choices that please Him always.
