We haven’t visited 2011 in quite some time, so we chose to visit the Montgomery County Fairgrounds (one of the last times for ROH) for an event that had become a staple of the calendar by that point (only one year missed due to a cancelled event). The tournament, whose roots extend beyond Ring of Honor, offered up a future title opportunity for the winners who have included Bryan Danielson, Roderick Strong, and Chris Hero.

The 2011 edition, the first under SBG, ended up as an opportunity for much-needed infusion into the top of the card so many chances were given for people to step up to the plate. Jeff and Shane discuss this, the legacy of WGTT, the rehab of Corino, and more!
