We start with this years "STRUT YOUR MUTT" event right here in Rolla, Missouri hosted by Phelps County Animal Welfare League. This event is vital to PCAWL and their endless pursuit to help animals around Phelps County, Missouri. We're always very proud and happy to help in anyway.

About PetFirst Pet Insurance
After our founder, Brent, had to put his dog Midnight down in 2003, he
knew he wanted to find a way to help pet parents take financial
considerations out of the conversations about veterinary care. Together
with his friend and colleague Lansdon, he started PetFirst the next year
in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
When we started in 2004 with just two employees, we had no idea what

Our Story
It all started with Midnight.
Our 20-pound mixed breed rescue dog Midnight was active and playful. Our
house was her castle and she made herself comfortable jumping up and
down on nearly every piece of furniture. But her jumping habits led to
an injury that required surgery in 2002. The bill for Midnight's care
totaled $3,000.
Her health was worth every penny but the shock of the amount was
significant and it led me to think about pet insurance. I researched the
industry but didn't find any providers or policies I liked. The rest,
as they say, is history.
