We watched a 2019 documentary this weekend called 'Chasing the Present'. It featured a 35-year-old man who seemed to have all of the 'things' in his life that would lead to happiness, but he was still plagued by anxiety and unhappiness. The film featured many experts in the field of the subconscious mind. He traveled the world for 2 years on a quest to find meaning (a little reminiscent of the Elizabeth Gilbert book 'Eat, Pray, Love'). On today's episode we're looking at this man's spiritual journey and discussing how people who don't have the means or access to a 2 year journey can get in touch with their own higher consciousness.
