Although it seemed to be a story about a dog who wins the big game, it ultimately was a story about grief of a child and the love that it takes to heal. But what was even more surprising was the longevity of the franchise. Now streaming on Disney+, the franchise's 16 films (!) have the opportunity to continue to connect with the next generation.
