This week Elaine takes us into the life and story of Alice Coachman, one of the first Black women to compete in the Olympics and the ONLY American woman to win a gold medal at the 1948 Olympics. She was truly and incredible athlete and woman and an amazing piece of Black American history. We hope you enjoy learning about her and hearing her story!
