Earlier in the year Angus Ferguson and I had a drink in his studio to discuss his recent work while in the midst of his MFA degree at the University of Victoria. While he's sitting in a very creaky chair we reflect on the conservative nature of the Vancouver and Canadian art world, science fiction and the process of painting portals.
