In Episode 15, I talk to Karla, the owner of the brand For Ceillia. For Ceillia is a boutique that targets women of all sizes. This episode was very rooted in Karla’s experiences as a teenage mother, her passion for the retail industry and her experience becoming a more inclusive boutique. We speak about her transition between running a store for someone else and how the closure of the store she worked at pushed her to do For Ceillia full time. She mentions a lot of great experiences but the one that stood out has to be her experience with a customer that propelled her to be the change she wanted to see and have more brands with size inclusivity.
