FPInnovations, Canada’s not-for-profit forest research institute, launched a 5-year initiative called the Steep-Slope Initiative. The Initiative aims to build a common vision and strategy among forest industry, equipment manufacturers, regulators and other stakeholders to overcome the challenges of timber harvesting on steep slopes.
