I don’t know how to solve our economic or political situations, but I think if we can start to honor one another for other things besides what the social norms are, we can begin to tip the scales in a more positive direction.

Honor and shame are tools used to shape our concepts of what is valuable and important in our lives. I’m trying to be careful about the things that I honor, while being careful not to shame.
