Jarrett and Linda visited the Leander Dinosaur Tracks out in the riverbed of the South San Gabriel River. Thanks to Google and a young boy who kept his distance, Linda and Jarrett were able to locate 12 tracks left by an acrocanthosaurus, a carnivorous dinosaur thought to have looked like a smaller version of the T-Rex. Aside from seeing the tracks, this part of the San Gabriel River offers a relaxed setting in which to go for a swim or do some fishing. Just don't expect to find restrooms or benches there, as it is not a formal park of any kind.
To read about the Leander Dinosaur Tracks, Jarrett and Linda recommend going to https://www.athomeinleander.com/history-of-leander/dino-.tracks, which has a thorough summary of the tracks and the area. Plus, it's an easy read!
