Meanwhile, in Leeds, Lizzie is facing her own problems and waiting for a visit from her husband. After bringing the while family over to New York, Lizzie and Louis take a look at their new home.

Lizzie finds work and is helped by Louis at the New York Institute for the Instruction of the Deaf and Dumb.
