During this week’s Behind The Message, Wes Tucker and Jennifer talk further about the message taken from the book of Revelation. Pastor Mike joins them and together they all explore what the Bible teaches will happen at the Second Coming of Jesus and how the knowledge of this truth impacts the day-to-day lives of believers.

Describe your familiarity with the book of Revelation. Have you read it before? Have you avoided reading it? Read Revelation 1:1-3. How does this passage encourage or challenge you in regards to your current familiarity with the book of Revelation?
Read Matthew 24:3-14 and answer the following questions:
What is Jesus’ warning found in Matthew 24:4-5?
In Matthew 24:6-12, how does Jesus describe the time leading up to His return?
What hope does Jesus hold out to believers in Matthew 24:6 and Matthew 24:13-14?
Read Matthew 24:36-44 and answer the following questions:
Concerning the end times, what truth can we be certain of found in Matthew 24:36?
From Matthew 24:37-41, what will be happening when the second coming of Jesus takes place?
What are Jesus’ instructions to the believer found in Matthew 24:42-44?
Read 1 Peter 1:13 & Titus 2:11-13 and discuss what it means for a believer to be ready for the second coming of Jesus. What are some practical ways you can personally put these verses into action?
