Ba'alei teshuva are on a higher level than perfectly righteous Jews because they return to God from a feeling of pain over their great distance from God and therefore are arroused from the very essence of their souls | The true idea of יחוד פנים בפנים is during the ten days of repentance when every Jews can awaken the essence if his/her soul | The difference between the two verses "With all my heart I search out for you God" and "From the depths of my soul I cry out to you God" •
