This week on Couch Locked Mac and Eric welcome Jack Skidmore to the studio to talk about running for The University of Arkansas Student Government Executive Board, and the ticket he is running under, Unity. Jack is a Junior Finance Major and will hold a minor in Business Analytics. He has served as the Executive Board VP of Community Service for IFC, serves on the University of Arkansas Conduct Board, is a Boys and Girls Club Mentor, and is also on the Chior Executive Board. The ticket he is running under, Unity, has actionable initiatives that include Open Education Resource Implementation to help combat overpriced textbooks and overpriced accesses codes that no one wants to buy, is currently lobbying for Tax-Free textbooks, and is working on growing a Student Alumni Mentorship Network so current students can find encouragement and expertise from Alumni in their respective fields.
