You have heard the saying, you are the sum of the 5 people we spend the most time with. To be honest I don't 100% agree with this statement because it kind of assumes that we aren't making conscious choices. But I do think the people that we have around us and especially the people that advise us are extremely important to everything from our success to our overall happiness and I do believe we have a choice in who those people are.
There are two truths that I want entrepreneurs to understand-no one is self-made and no one has all the answers all the time. Every entrepreneur needs support and the right people can help you on your entrepreneurial journey.
In this episode, you will learn how to create your own board of advisors and who belongs at your "table"
Questions to ask yourself from the podcast:
If you haven't already go to my website and download the core values exercise, its free and will help you get started. www.confidententrepreneur.net
What kind of person do you want to be?
What does your ideal self look like, feel like?
What qualities do you wish to possess?
What do you want to be known for?
Do you have a vision for your life & business?
Who are the 5 people you spend the most time with? I would exclude children from this unless they are adults and are someone that you confide in.
What qualities do they possess that align with the person you want to be?
Do they align or at least understand and respect your core values?
Do their qualities match who you want to become?
Do they help support you or distract you from your vision?
Do they elevate you or bring you down?
Do they know enough about you and your business to be able to speak to them?
