Abundant success requires clearly defined goals, making the right decisions, and prioritizing your time for success. In the kingdom of God, time management looks like energy management. Check out these three simple steps on how to manage your energy levels for success!
Scripture Gem: "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." ~ Psalm 90:12
This passage in Psalm 90:12 holds wisdom as simple as ABC on how to maintain your energy levels throughout the year to see success in all areas of your life. This scripture gem shows us that we must A. know, B. assign, and C. advance every day to enjoy God's abundant success.
A. Know
Energy management requires a familiar friendship with the Creator of all energy, strength, power, and might. The Spirit of God is the spirit of might, power, and strength. This practically looks like building a relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Reflection: How familiar am I with the Holy Spirit? How much do I know about Him? Would I consider the Holy Spirit my friend?
Everyday Wisdom: So, every day I will seek to: KNOW Holy Spirit as my friend.
B. Assign
Holy Spirit will not only help us muster the energy for success, He can help us assign it. Success requires scheduling our days for follow-through. This practically looks like asking God: what is on the agenda for today? Don't forget to listen for an answer.
Reflection: How do you go about planning your day? What has been God's roll in that process in the past?
Everyday Wisdom: So, choose to allow God to help me: ASSIGN my time!
C. Advance
With the help of Holy Spirit to assign your time as needed, now you are ready to start doing the things that will lead to success this year and stop doing the things that kill your chances at success.
Reflection: Take a moment to pray and ask God for the energy to advance in every area of your life this year.
