We watched the 1982 "slasher" flick Trick or Treats which is mostly a cautionary tale about babysitting wealthy, spoiled, brat children with prevert step fathers. Oh yeah, there's also a murder. One murder. In the entire film. Seriously.

Greedy Joan has her wealthy husband Malcolm committed to a mental institution so that she can marry babysitter creeper David Carradine. Four years later on Halloween night Malcolm, looking remarkably like Meatloaf in a naughty nurse cosplay, breaks out and heads home to get his revenge, only to find Linda babysitting his awful offspring, Christopher.
