In this episode we discuss benign bone cysts. Unicameral Bone cysts also known as UBCs and Aneurysmal bone cysts also known as ABCs.
Unicameral bone cysts are simple bone cysts that occur in children and young adults with a predilection for the metaphyseal region of the bone. They are often found incidentally but can also lead to a fracture of the weakened bone.
Aneurysmal bone cysts are blood filled cysts that cause pain, they also occur in children and young adult with a predilection for the metaphyseal region. They can cause pain and sometimes mimic other entities.
