Then, Desmond Dekker brings Jamaican music to the UK and Fairport Convention creates UK folk rock. Rufus makes slick funk and two instrumental prog rock groups put out their third albums. From 1979, we have the greatest punk album of all time. From 1984, Bruce Cockburn tries to imitate talking heads. Savatage discover Andrew Llloyd Webber in 1989 and Pestilence release an excellent death metal record. Finally, Kelis debuts in 1999.
