Today I had the pleasure of talking to current deputy district attorney for Imperial county and now candidate for District Attorney for Imperial County, Mario Vela.  He is a Calexico native and grew up with learning from his parents, who both studied and practiced law in Mexicali.  Although only 31 Mr Vela feels he has the experience and knowledge to lead the Imperial County district attorney's office.
