Today I am joined by Alex, the bassist of the Boston Grindcore band Horrible Earth

I’ll be chatting with Alex about how this band began, how their sound has evolved over the years, influences, inspirations and the Boston extreme music scene.

I’ll of course be also discussing the band’s full-length, ‘Weakened by Civilization’, talking about the recording process, the themes explored throughout the album, the wild samples chose and why they included a jazz song on a Grindcore album.

Alex was a wonderful guest on the show, I got some amazing insight into extreme music from himself and some fantastic music recommendations as well.
