Hello Pups and Kittens and welcome back to The Groomer Next Door. This week we have an extremely amazing Veterinarian joining us on the podcast this week. Not only is he probably the most interesting Doctor, but he's created something that will help your pup.
Let's meet Stacey A. Bone, DVM
Dr. Bone is a 2008 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine. He had already earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from there in 2003. Originally from Branson, he has been practicing at a high-volume clinic in Las Vegas for the past two years and has decided to return to Missouri to be closer to family and friends. His veterinary interests include oncology, preventative medicine and soft-tissue surgery. In his spare time, he is an avid college football fan, golfer, and he loves to spend time volunteering.
Let us help them get back on their feet.
The founders of PawFriction teamed up to help dogs that have difficulty getting around on smooth flooring. Through our exploration, we have developed PawFriction and are pleased to offer it to you and your dog today.
Having seen the adverse effects that aging paws had on dogs’ ability to move on smooth surfaces, recover from surgery, and stave off orthopedic, neurological, and degenerative diseases, Dr. Stacey Bone, teamed up with Jeff Harms, a medical device engineer, to create a better solution than anything available on the market. It needed to be:
Completely safe
Proven effective
Works on any size dog
Easy to apply
After years of development and testing, PawFriction went to market in 2015. Currently available online and through a growing number of Veterinary Clinics and Professional Groomer, PawFriction continues to grow by expanding into retail.
Why it Works
Use It or Lose It
Without use, muscles lose their tone and flexibility and atrophy over time. Unfortunately, many degenerative diseases worsen without movement and exercise.
PawFriction allows your dogs to use their muscles as they normally would, enabling them to strengthen and help fight off orthopedic, neurological and degenerative diseases such as arthritis and dysplasia. In addition, your vet may recommend PawFriction as part of their post-operative rehabilitation.
PawFriction enhances your dog’s downward leg force by preventing lateral slipping and splay-legging increasing mobility and confidence.
We’re here to help youmove forward.
How to apply:
Depending on your dog’s size and activity level:
Each application should last 7 days on average
There are 2 to 4 applications per package
Although having the dog stand during application is ideal, some pets will respond better while lying down. Depending on your dog’s temperament, you may need another person to help either process.
