Last week on Tropicology I played a set of downtempo Brazilian tunes from the lounge crate. That was a nice clubby vibe for relaxed summertime activities, like beach volleyball or river rafting. So I thought I would keep the mellow summer music going this week, but I’m moving the location. Today I have lined up two hours of tasty African tracks from the lounge crate, featuring some African disco, downtempo Afrobeat, makossa, highlife, and even a hint of techno sound at the end of the show. And of course there will be plenty of African funk. Today’s show is Africa Chill.
