Seven Things volunteers should to say to leaders:
ONE: Don’t just tell me what to do, teach me how you think.
TWO: Help people understand vision so they can make their own decisions.
THREE: Please don’t presume that our priorities are aligned.
FOUR: In the long run, I prefer the challenge of confrontation to the complacency of under performance.
FIVE: Give me an opportunity that overwhelms me.
SIX: Your excellence becomes my expectation
SEVEN: Please push me patiently (grace)
