Mark Winthrop is having a bad day.

Tired, hungry and forced out of his strict daily routine by a series of unlucky circumstances, he finds himself the victim of a mugging, and bleeding in a dark alley.

A mysterious stranger comes to his aid, but Mark's so-called rescuer has other, more sinister motives.
