In our sixteenth episode we get to one of Joel’s favorite movies, the 2001 film, “Atlantis: The Lost Empire.” A familiar movie to both Joel and Avery, we watch this movie with a critical eye this time around and find many unrealistic exaggerations we like to call, “that’s not how that works.” However, does Joel still LOVE this movie? Yes. Avery has a hilarious brain fart in the beginning of part 2 which Joel thinks is the funniest oopsie moment thus far in our podcasting career. We also talk about our love for all the minor characters and how progressive this movie was by portraying so many different cultures and people. Even with so many plot holes and unexplained phenomena this movie has, it still entertains us and brings back all the nostalgic feelings!
