How do people access data? Not just researchers... what about journalists? Think tank employees? Retail managers? Grandparents? We want everyone to have access to data, but what does that really mean? If everyone has access to data, what does that mean in terms of getting people to actually see it?

The Research Data Ecosystem, a new initiative from ICPSR with funding from the National Science Foundation, will make research data accessible to broaden participation in the frontiers of scientific research.
