Baseball's back! Well, spring training is anyhow. Nevertheless, we are effervescent. That, paired with the Manny Machado signing, lifts a weight off our shoulders as we shoot the breeze about Kaleb Cowart (who was reclaimed by the Angels shortly after we recorded), whether the Padres and the pitch clock have overstayed their welcome, Albert Pujols' ascendence to the highest home run heights, and the glut of David Fletchers (including the Angels' second baseman, who went 0-2, K in his first spring training appearance) that have flooded our inbox.
