We're back! In episode 16, Ryan and Nate take a trip (not literally) to Japan and explore the surface level beginnings of streetwear in what I (Ryan speaking) believe is where the true essence of streetwear lives and will continue to live for a very long time. Harajuku specifically has seen many peaks and valleys and is currently going through a transitional period - where originally it was all about being different for the sake of being an individual, where now people dress different to get likes on Instagram.
