At 20 years old Mia found herself pregnant, going through the depths of impending Motherhood while pulling away from her High Performance sporting support. She worked her way back to rugby by going back to her roots and found herself the following year with a Chiefs Manawa contract and not long after, an interim Black Ferns one... It is fair to say that the strength she has found in herself since having her son SHOWS on the field and this Mama is just getting started.
