Today's interview with my good friend Laruen Trimmer is something all allergy mom's need to hear. She walked through post partum depression after her first daughter and gives us valuable insight about regaining her health. However, her story continues with her second daughter being diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis or EOE and food allergies after being sick the first year of her life. She talks about the fear and anxiety of her child never having a normal life, not to mention the overwhelming anxiety of what even to feed her daughter. She found her strength through the people she had around her and realized that a normal life was possible, it was just their new normal. She leaves mom with a message of strength and encouragement that you can figure it out, you just need to focus on one meal at a time and they rest will come. This interview is an absolute must for any mom or individual struggling with the fear, anxiety, and isolation that can come with food allergies and/or EOE. SHARE!!
