  • The more the global economy improves, the worse policy gets - because there is no incentive to compromise.  US-China relations are K-Shaped -- business wants increased integration, but nationalist policies are getting more restrictive.  
  • US business decision-makers are starting to look like the children of a messy divorce – they want Mom & Dad to stay together, but it isn’t gonna happen.
  • The search for the "Next China" looks like it’s going to be tough.   Singapore and Taipei look like possible management centers, but Westerners are going to have to DIY their new supply chain.
  • India – the business community is willing, but bad governance and a resurgent Covid are proving to be insurmountable problems. Digitalization is helping – but its not broad-based.
