This is the story of Karla, a woman who is giving and kind. However she doesn't have the courage to leave a bad relationship.  One day her life is turned upside down when she has an accident and suffers an acquired brain injury.  The story evolves through Karla's struggle with family, friends and rehab.  In the end, she comes to the understanding of what's really important in life.
