When we base our actions or feelings on those of others including our spouse, we set ourselves up for a miserable life…why? Because we have no control over what they do but we can control our own emotions and actions. Choose actions for the good of your marriage regardless of whether or not your spouse is as present as you are in the marriage…it could make all the difference in keeping the marriage afloat.
