Proclamation! For the twenty-fourth Sunday after Pentecost, Sunday, 7 November 2021 Interim Priest David Bryant reflects on the significance of remembering those who served in or suffered from wars. Reverend David tells us the story of WWII veteran, the Canadian artist John Bennett (1919-2017). Bennett served as a camouflage officer and used any free time he had to document the realities of war in watercolour paintings. 78 of Bennett’s paintings are in the permanent collection of the National War Museum in Ottawa.
