Born in Columbus, GA to happily married teenage parents, Shannon experienced a fun childhood when her father joined the Army and they moved all over the world! From GA, Germany, KS to Panama and even Japan! She was encouraged to attend church, when her curiosity of the Bible went beyond what her mom could answer. From a young age she pursued her faith on her own, that is until she met her husband, a chaplain’s assistant, in Japan! They were married, started their family and settled in Virginia. Settled, until her world was shaken when her husband’s headaches that lead to brain surgery and an eye opening calling to serve families with hospitalized loved ones. Shannon’s story is full of change and adjusting but it’s clear to see God’s timing and provision throughout!
