Hello and welcome to The River Foundation Podcast! Today, the Community President of the First Southern National Bank in Jessamine County, Sam Lee, joins Dan to discuss the experience that he and his team are having while going through the new condensed and compressed Compass courses together. As a 27-year employee of First Southern, Sam has been witness to updates and overhauls to the bank's operations and to life in general, which is why he has found such joy in revisiting the very program that piqued his interest in working at the bank in first place: the Compass program. Now in week five of taking the course with his team, Sam reflects on how Compass has changed, what bits have remained, and why his employees are getting even more out of the program than he did all those years ago.
Episode Highlights:
[0:26] Sam recounts how First Southern introduced him to revolutionary financial responsibility teachings 27 years ago.
[3:06] Sam remembers his first Compass course and explains why he is taking them again.
[8:16] The innovations that he and his team are experiencing while taking a Compass course together.
